John Wischhusen is a designer and maker who explores contemporary craft uses for aluminium. "I am passionate about this material, it is a beautiful material that can be endlessly recycled and it is incredibly adaptable offering the designer endless possibilities." 

He adapts industrial processes such as pressing and casting to a craft approach and all work is carried out in his workshops by hand. He is committed to the use of sustainable materials and he actively recycles his own manufacturing waste back into the production process
